The Saints Museum of Olot is housed in a neo-gothic building, where it was the first religious imagery workshop created in Olot in the year 1880 by Joaquim Vayreda Vila, Josep Berga Boix and Valentí Carrera. Their target was to purpose of provinding jobs for students at the Public Drawing School of the city, and elevating the religious sculpture being produced at that time.
Almost the whole of the building is dedicated to the museum, with several parts in differents stages. The layout of the museum is: |
