The main goal of creating the Saints Museum of Olot was to share the manufacture of religious images, a production that due to its importance and specificity has turned into a trademark, guarantee and designation of origin – the saints of Olot – which is clearly intertwined with the city's own history.

For this reason, the Olot Town Hall , with the help of all the saints workshops currently operating and other local entities and associations, decided to create a museum to showcase this unique cultural heritage.

The museum also aims to indirectly contribute to the development of this activity and to provide an impetus to enable it to expand into other fields.

Another overarching goal of this museum is to become a point of contact and interaction between the different groups in the city who perform activities related to religious imagery and other similar fields.
